The Emotional Intelligence Game
Emotional intelligence is the ability to handle one’s own emotions and to read and respond to others’ emotions in ways that create positive relationships. Kids who are emotionally intelligent may be more resilient to stressors such as depression or anxiety.
In this fun and engaging game, players fill their “brains” with five key skills to improve emotional intelligence:
- Self-awareness
- Empathy
- Relational skills
- Mood management
- Self-motivation
Children practice and improve these skills by responding to prompts on the provided deck of cards. Each card is associated with one of the skills, and the object of the game is to fill a Brain Card with two tokens for each skill. Whether competing or working collaboratively, this game offers a fun way for children to improve their emotional intelligence. For 2 to 5 players.
Includes 2 Rules Sheets (Competitive and Cooperative); Facilitator Booklet; Tokens; 1 Die with colored sides; 5 Brain Cards; and Deck of Cards
